Tom Collins (1895-?)

Tom Collins was a concertina player from Boulthadine, Kilfenora, remembered as one of the earlier tradition bearers in the area. He passed on his love of music to his son, John Tom Collins, continuing a strong local lineage of concertina playing. Like many musicians of his time, Tom played for the love of it — at house dances, local gatherings, and wherever a tune was needed.
