Tape 1 kilfenora christmas 1955

This cassette tape was found while clearing out my grandparents’ house in Lickeen East in 2021. It’s not clear who recorded it, but it may have come from a set of reel-to-reels that Judith O’Donoghue had in London, possibly copied onto cassette by Pat Lynch and sent home.

The tape features the Kilfenora Céilí Band and many local musicians in groups and individually, including Kitty Linnane, the Lynch family, Gus Tierney, Jim McCormack, Paddy Marshall, and Jim Ward.
