Margaret Organ (née Mullins) (1887-1952)

Margaret Mullins was born in 1887 in Cahersherkin, near Kilfenora, Co. Clare. She played the concertina and was part of a strong local tradition of music in the area. Margaret’s musical influence was felt most directly through her son, Paddy ‘Mullins’ Organ, a well-known flute player with the Kilfenora Céilí Band.

She passed away in 1952.
