Joe Keirse (1930-2009)

Joe Keirse was a singer from Boulthadine, Kilfenora, born in 1930. Known for his love of traditional song and his distinctive voice, Joe was part of the rich singing tradition of North Clare. He released a CD of his songs, helping to preserve a repertoire shaped by place, memory, and community.
