Jimmy Clancy (1945-2020)

Jimmy Clancy was a respected accordion player who brought his music to countless halls and homes over the years, most often in the company of his brother, John Clancy. The two were a well-known musical duo, playing together throughout their lives with a deep, shared love of traditional Irish music.

Jimmy was also a member of the Golden Star Céilí Band, a group that brought energy and polish to every performance. Known for their stylish presentation and accomplished sound, the Golden Star were regulars on the céilí circuit and built a strong reputation across the region.
